The Digital Fast is a 28-day journey to reimagine our technology and practices. This will change our relationships with our phones, which will change our relationships with the people around us and our Heavenly Father. Our church will be using the Aro app (yes, an app) to quantify how much time collectively that we are intentionally spending OFF our phones each week. We’ll be reporting these intentional hours each week as a way to collectively encourage and hold each other accountable. Download Aro below.
Sermon Series: The Digital Dilemma
Sunday, January 25-February 22
In the first week of The Digital Dilemma, we reveal the hidden spiritual battle behind our screens. Drawing from Jesus’ warning in John 10:10, we see how the digital world quietly steals our attention, destroys our peace, and robs us of joy—often without us realizing it. But Jesus offers something completely different: a full, awake, abundant life. This message encourages you to take a 28-day digital fast to reclaim your focus, regain your peace, and refocus your life on God’s presence.
At Aspire Church San Marco we believe “Circles are better than rows.” Our goal is ”Making Disciples and equipping those who do.” This goal is achieved in a small group environment. We have small groups meeting in homes and on-campus. Our groups are a place where truth meets life.

COMMUNITY
Did you know there was a time in our history when the church met in the movie palace across the street? Eight decades later, we’re still located on the northeast corner of San Marco Square. Over the years, we have developed several amazing relationships. And though our steeple can be seen from miles away, what happens in our home community is essential.

Aspire Church has partnered with One More Child in many ways over the years– from building fences to packing lunches. One More Child provides Christ-centered help to hungry children, single moms, struggling families, and children who have suffered trafficking, neglect, and abuse. Some of our own families have served as foster parents and provided a safe place where a hurting child can experience the love of Christ.

Our faith-based partnership with Landon Prep began in 2010 and has served as a model for Duval County Schools. Many of our own students graduated from or are attending what has become one of the top middle schools across the county. Volunteers express the love of Christ to the Landon family through teacher appreciation events, mentorship, and scholarship opportunities.

Aspire Church is a longtime member of SMMA. From special events on the Square to shared public parking and lots of cool stuff in between, we are fully committed to being the best neighbor we can be to San Marco.

From celebrating the centennial of the Acosta Bridge to supporting San Marco by Design, our award-winning Neighborhood Action Plan for the historic district, Aspire Church San Marco is a ready partner for SMPS. In San Marco, we shop small and shop local. We “illuminate” the holiday season. And we love storytime in the Square.
