Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to dress up at Aspire?

Nope. Wear what you like. Some of us wear jeans and tees, others wear ties and pearls. And since Jesus wore flip-flops, you can, too!

What time does your Sunday service start?

We offer two services starting at 9 am and 11 am.

Are you a denomination?
Our roots are Southern Baptist, which respects the autonomy of each local church. It’s true that “Baptist” is no longer in our name, but we still believe in reaching across the street and around the world to share the love of Christ. We do that primarily through Southern Baptist mission efforts. Learn more about our beliefs here.
Is this a new church?

Nope. We’ve been around more than 80 years and are super excited about our new branding as Aspire Church San Marco.

Are you just one ethnicity?
No, and we pray that we look more and more like heaven every day with people of every nation and language worshipping Christ.
It’s been a long time since I visited a church. How accepting is Aspire?

You’ll find people just like you at Aspire, so don’t worry about sticking out or feeling judged.

Do you have ministries for all ages?

Yes! We are a multi-generational church with a next generation vision. That means there’s something for everyone at Aspire, no matter your age or stage of life.

What can I expect when visiting?

You will find people who are trying to love God and people, every day and in lots of ways. You can also expect smiles and handshakes as soon as you walk through our doors.

Where should I park?

We’re located in the heart of San Marco’s historic district, but parking won’t be a problem. In addition to street parking along Atlantic Boulevard, we offer two shaded parking areas located on Hendricks Avenue across from Dreamette and behind the fire station on San Marco Place. Handicap access and parking are also provided at our San Marco Place entrance.
