Scott and Kathy Badgett are Oklahoma natives who met on the campus of their alma mater, Oklahoma State University. Married for over 40 years, the Badgett’s have three children and six grandchildren. Together, they served as volunteers in churches in Oklahoma and Tennessee. Scott answered a call to full-time ministry at age 46, and then faithfully served Chisholm Heights Baptist Church in Mustang, Oklahoma for 14 years as Executive Pastor. In 2018, Scott and Kathy moved to Florida where Scott now serves as Executive Pastor at Aspire Church. Kathy continues her on-the-job ministry as a teacher’s assistant, having served families and children for over 20 years. When Scott and Kathy aren’t working or volunteering, you’ll find them enjoying life in the great outdoors, popping into sports events, or opening their home to friends and family where the cooking is as wonderful as the company.
