Cindy joined our church family in 1985, as Southside Baptist greeted its fifth decade of service, making her the official fount-of-all-wisdom on staff. Also known as the “original grammar girl,” Cindy is a proud graduate of Florida State University with a major in Latin. She answered the call into full-time ministry in church administration after two years of teaching high school. In addition to her daily responsibilities, Cindy serves through choir, handbells, guest services, and occasional theatrical appearances as her bossy alter ego, Beatrice Thistlebottom. Cindy lives in San Marco and fills her spare time with books, travel, and collecting nativities, She is also an active member of P.E.O. International, a philanthropic organization celebrating the advancement of women.
